Mr Sudhakar Tomar awarded at “The Indian CEO awards 2016" in the field of CSR for reducing Malnutrition and improving Food Security
Mr Sudhakar Tomar , Managing Director of Hakan Agro DMCC , was presented with " The Indian CEO Award for 2016 " in the field of CSR for alleviating Food Security concerns and reducing Malnutrition in Asia and africa at Arabian Business / CEO Middle East annual Indian CEO Awards in Dubai. Over 300 of the region’s most successful CEOs gathered together as the winners were announced.
Commenting on the honor Mr Tomar, who has been previously awarded with “ Grain Asia 2006" and "International Pulse Man of year 2015 ", said "Someday hundreds of millions of farmers in Indian subcontinent and Africa,to whom I dedicate this award, will need no publicity and that someday an award for reducing Malnutrition & improving Food Security will be just as superfluous as an award for getting up each morning . The event was hosted by the BBC broadcaster and former Economist editor Andrew Neil. A record 13 categories of awards were selected from over 400 nominations and 39 finalists featuring the leading CEOs from across the business world, science, medicine, industry, CSR , philanthropy and sport. This year’s guest of honour was His Excellency T P Seetharam, Ambassador of India to the UAE, who delivered a keynote speech.
